County-wide offices file with the DeKalb County Clerk DeKalb County Administration Building 2nd floor—Election Office 110 E. Sycamore St—Sycamore Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm*
*Monday, November 27: during the First Hour of Filing, petitions will be accepted in Conference Room East of the Administration Building, 110 E. Sycamore St—Sycamore
*Last day of filing Monday, December 4: Election Office hours will be extended until 5 pm to accept petitions
Ballot Placement will be determined by order of filing: If multiple candidates filing for the same race are in line at 8:30 am on the first day or during the last hour of filing on the last day, Ballot Placement for the first and last positions on the ballot will be determined by LOTTERY.
